Hello again, and welcome to part two of our three part TikTok video series. In part one, we talked about how brands can break into TikToK without breaking the bank. And in part two, we're going to cover over some content ideas for fueling your TikTok account. Alright, let's do it.
First content idea, and these are in no particular order, is microlearning. TikTok gives brands the ability to share bite-sized educational clips that can promote products, offer insights, and build a digital relationship, which these days is almost a real one, with consumers. The goal is to be helpful and easy, not salesy, and keep the overall tone and style in line with TikTok’s vibe. Think quick tips, fun facts, and quick tutorials that can make your daily posting worth doing. Make sure you offer a unique perspective on things, and that the overall tone fits your brand. Remember. Posers need not apply.
Idea number two.
TikTok is definitely a place where questions meet answers. Engaging directly by answering audience questions will showcase how dedicated your brand is to the customer experience. Simple TikTok videos addressing common questions will really help create a dynamic feed and establish your brand as a helpful one.
Number three.
TikTok is a lovely little place to spark some curiosity. Think product teasers. These are a fun way to introduce a new product or service to the market. You can use quick mysterious clips to tease what's coming. And many brands have had success doing a series of teaser videos that gradually reveal more details each time. And since it's TikTok, you can push the boundaries here and show your silly and entertaining side.
Number four – creator collabs.
In the TikTok world, so pretty much of the world if you're 16 to 30 years old. No shade, just saying. Collaborating with influencers is a super powerful way to raise awareness quickly. You can co-create content or leverage UGC. Now finding a good creator is not always the easiest, but when you do, it adds a ton of authenticity and widens your reach.
And it grows from there. Many creative teams are using branded effects with their content creators to create more interactive experiences. As well as allowing influencers to take over their account for a day. Check out Sephora for a good example of this. Really nice job by the beauty retailer.
Number five, and the last content idea we'll talk about today. Trust me, there are many more. Is trend hopping. Ride that wave of popularity. Not always the easiest wave to catch. Jumping on TikTok trends helps brands connect with their tribe with the current vibe.
All right. That was cheesy. Remember to spot hot trends, check the for you page as well as the discover tab and relevant hashtags to see what's got the people's attention, then pick a trend that matches your values and add your own spin. Let your brand voice shine here. This is a great way to have your brand feel natural and approachable without the need to be pushy, or shove the latest promotional offer in their face.
All right next time we'll bring it all together and we'll talk about a sound strategy for successful channel ongoing. Thanks for your time and be well.
