About the Role

Overskies is seeking a talented Social Media Art Director to join our creative team and lead visual storytelling for luxury brand accounts. The ideal candidate brings a refined design sensibility, a deep understanding of social media aesthetics, and the ability to concept and execute high-end creative across digital platforms.

This is a hands-on role that will require excellent design skills and a keen eye for luxury and style, as well as the ability to translate brand vision into engaging, scroll-stopping content.

Key Responsibilities

• Concept, design, and art direct high-quality social media content (photo and digital assets) that align with luxury branding and marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, and account teams to deliver cohesive campaign ideas and content calendars.
• Oversee and direct photoshoots and post-production to ensure creative excellence and brand consistency.
• Work independently to develop visual concepts, layouts, and templates across platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Meta, and YouTube.
• Ensure all deliverables adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a premium aesthetic.
• Leverage AI and digital tools to ideate, prototype, and enhance visual concepts efficiently.
• Stay current with design trends, luxury brand storytelling, and emerging social media best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in design or art direction, ideally within a luxury, lifestyle, or fashion brand environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and execution across social media and photography.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma, with familiarity using AI-driven creative tools.
• Experience directing and collaborating with photographers, stylists, and content creators.
• Exceptional eye for composition, color, typography, and brand tone.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.

Bonus Points

• Experience with motion graphics and video editing.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Previous agency experience.
• Understanding of influencer content and paid social campaign needs.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
